Good news for Dilla fans around the globe, Ma Dukes has gotten a hold of unreleased tapes and artifacts from the late musical genius, Jay Dee. Hopefully we will get a chance to hear them soon. But until then, continue to enjoy what he has put out thus far.

Check out this sweet video that our homie Abbitt Wilkerson shot in Cali of a shop that tunes scooters of all kinds. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I’m definitely thinking about picking one up to cruise on.

Two weekends ago, Matt and I went down to Long Beach California to check out Formula drift and to check out a bunch of shops down in the Cali area. On Friday we walked over to the track and caught practice as well as the 1st round of qualifying for the Formula drift event. Unfortunately our buddy Walker did not qualify for top 32, so we headed out to see our homies Andy and Polo from the brand IM KING. We headed up to their warehouse out in Santa Ana to see how they operated. We arrived at a warehouse with a huge IMKING logo on the front, so we went in. The first thing we saw as we walked in was a clean and simple hat case with some of there hats they were showcasing. Walking further in was where we got to see where the magic happens. Behind the door were offices where everyone did work, as well as there warehouse space where they store all there clothing. After chatting with Andy for a bit, he had some clothing and accessories pulled for Matt and I.

Once again, BIG SHOUT OUT TO ANDY AND POLO FOR THE FREE GEAR. As we were choosing our gear, Andy pointed us out the back door to check out POLO’s skyline / nsx. Man was this car clean! I have never seen such a classic mint condition skyline!

As we left the warehouse, Andy recommended we stop by a streetwear boutique called ATTIC. As we got to Attic, all you could see outside were clothing banners across their tinted windows. First thing walking into the store was the sushi conveyer belt with shoes on it! Coolest shoe display I have ever seen. This store had almost every top tier brand I have heard of. By far the biggest selection.

To end the night, we went and visited Matt’s sister who recently just had a kid, making MATT, UNCLE MATTY! They took us out to Korean BBQ and man was it good! The next morning we woke up a little late to beat the LA traffic, so we headed out to the IMKING flagship store to get there limited edition Spongebob collab t-shirt. We then headed to Huntington Beach and checked out the area. I wish Seattle could have weather like they do. BLAH. We then celebrated Easter Sunday and headed back to WA.
